Job Overview:
Gigabyte Technology India Pvt. Ltd. is actively recruiting a motivated and high-performing Channel Sales Manager for its operations in Kolkata, India. This role is crucial for driving sales growth, cultivating strong channel partnerships, and extending Gigabyte's footprint within the dynamic technology market. The successful candidate will be instrumental in achieving ambitious sales targets, identifying and capitalizing on new business prospects, and leading a team to foster the expansion and success of Gigabyte's comprehensive product line across the designated region.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Formulate and execute robust sales strategies tailored to the Kolkata region to consistently meet and exceed sales objectives.
- Rigorously monitor and assess regional sales performance, ensuring strict alignment with overarching company objectives and growth plans.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Establish and nurture enduring, collaborative relationships with a wide array of key stakeholders, including distributors, value-added resellers (VARs), retail partners, and end-users.
- Act as a product knowledge expert, continuously educating customers on the features, benefits, and value proposition of Gigabyte's extensive product offerings.
Market Research & Analysis:
- Conduct thorough and ongoing market research to identify emerging industry trends, evolving customer preferences, and key competitor activities within the competitive technology landscape.
Sales Reporting & Performance Tracking:
- Maintain diligent oversight of daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance metrics, comparing them against established targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive sales reports, clearly articulating achievements, identifying strategic opportunities, and pinpointing areas requiring focused improvement.
Qualifications & Skills:
Educational Background:
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.Tech, B.E.) or Science (B.Sc.) is required. An MBA degree is considered a significant advantage.
Experience:
- Possess 1 to 5 years of progressive experience in sales management or business development, with a minimum of 2-3 years specifically within the technology or IT industry in a comparable role.
Core Competencies:
- Demonstrate exceptional leadership, persuasive communication, and adept negotiation skills.
- Exhibit proven expertise in sales strategy development, cultivating and maintaining strong customer and partner relationship management, and conducting effective market research.
- Proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software is essential.
