Business Development Manager

Job Purpose:
The Business Development Manager serves as the primary liaison between our customers and suppliers. This role involves executing supplier strategies and managing the complete sales cycle to maximize revenue, net gross profits, and customer satisfaction by cultivating deep relationships with key personnel in supplier organizations and partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create, develop, and implement initiatives specific to vendors (10%)
• Manage Channel Partner & Vendor engagement (20%)
• Execute credit management, order processing, and AR collections (20%)
• Maintain operational excellence through pipeline management, forecasting, and inventory control (10%)
• Analyze market potential with existing BDMs to develop the market base (10%)
• Collaborate with Channel Partners on sales competencies to close deals via coaching (10%)
• Coordinate supplier-led technical and sales training for new products/technologies (10%)

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• 1-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Technical or Business fields required; Master's preferred with a Sales focus.
• Demonstrable ability to execute instructions and seek clarification when needed.
• Possess basic clerical, data entry, mathematical calculation skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong communication abilities in English and local languages.
• Capability to create formal presentations and negotiate persuasively.
• Strong organizational/time management skills under pressure.
• Committed to ethical standards, confidentiality, independence, teamwork, empathy, adaptability to new systems, and basic computer application usage.

Working Conditions:

• Distribution center environment: exposure to extreme temperatures, noise, heights, wet/humid conditions, and outside weather.
• Overtime as required by business needs; occasional non-standard hours.
• On-call availability when necessary.
