Business Analyst

Job Summary

The Business Analyst will act as a key liaison between business clients and technical teams, focusing on understanding customer business requirements and translating them into actionable deliverables. This role involves analyzing complex business problems, supporting organizational transformation goals, and driving business solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate customer business requirements into user stories and business requirement documents (BRDs).
• Facilitate the analysis of complex business problems, acting as a bridge between business and technical teams.
• Support client organizational transformation by defining and driving business solutions.
• Analyze and input on methodologies and frameworks for requirement and project execution.
• Develop business cases and leverage strong knowledge in Business Process Management (BPM) and process re-engineering.
• Create To-Be Models, perform Gap Analysis, and identify areas for business performance improvement.
• Define project scope and objectives aligned with business strategies.
• Manage stakeholders effectively and lead requirements elicitation sessions and workshops.
• Bridge gaps between requirements and product functionalities with workable solutions.
• Participate in Agile Scrum teams, assisting Product Owners with Sprint Prioritization.
• Engage with clients at all levels, including senior management, to provide expert guidance.
• Contribute to pre-sales activities by understanding business drivers and aligning proposed solutions with business value and KPIs.
• Drive strategy execution by identifying the optimal mix of technologies and platforms.
• Prepare comprehensive documentation including BRDs, FRDs, SRS, User Stories, Success Criteria, and Business Cases.
• Ensure successful solution platform adoption by Enterprise customers.

Qualifications and Experience

• Overall Experience: Not above 12 years.
• Relevant Experience: 6+ years.
• Required Education: Graduation + MBA, or Graduation, or Bachelor’s Degree.
• Certifications: Business Analyst certification is preferred.

Technical Skills and Tools

• Required: Business Analysis, BPM, Business Process Model, Business Process Architect, Stakeholder Management, Process Re-engineering & Continuous Process Improvement, Gap Analysis, BRD, Product Management, Configuration Management, Requirement Analysis, Ideation & Requirement Gathering, Workshop Facilitation.
• Tools: MS Visio, Mural, Miro, JIRA, Confluence, MS Office 365 Suite, MS Project.
• Good to Have: URD/BRD Preparation, Functional Specification, SIT, UAT, Implementation, Transition to BAU, User Stories, Waterfall and Agile Methodologies, SAP, ERP, Integration Platforms, MuleSoft, SDLC, Financial Services, MS Dynamics, DevOps.

• Flexibility in working hours to accommodate US and multiple APAC time zones may be required.
