Business Analyst

HockeyStack, an Applied AI company revolutionizing B2B sales, marketing, and customer success automation, seeks a skilled Business Analyst for our San Francisco, CA location. In this pivotal role, you will serve as a trusted consultant to our clients, guiding them to overcome go-to-market challenges by leveraging the power of the HockeyStack platform and its data insights. You will deliver strategic recommendations that directly contribute to customer growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a trusted advisor to customers, translating their complex business challenges into clear, actionable strategies powered by the HockeyStack platform.
• Provide expert guidance to customers on optimizing their entire go-to-market motions, from initial pipeline generation through to final revenue conversion, utilizing data-driven insights.
• Collaborate closely with Customer Success Managers to ensure seamless support and cultivate robust, long-term customer relationships.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical challenges for customers, identifying root causes and guiding them toward effective solutions within the HockeyStack ecosystem.
• Partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to integrate customer feedback into product enhancements and maximize value realization.

What You Bring:

• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a closely related field.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in business analysis, consulting, strategy, or a client-facing advisory capacity.
• Prior experience in B2B, SaaS, or GTM environments is highly advantageous.
• Exceptional business acumen, with a deep understanding of how revenue teams operate and the ability to connect customer pain points to strategic, data-backed solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including confidence in presenting recommendations to senior leadership.
• An analytical mindset capable of leveraging data to substantiate business recommendations, without requiring advanced SQL expertise.
• An ownership-first mentality; you are proactive, move with speed, and possess a strong problem-solving drive.
• The ability to thrive in an early-stage, high-urgency environment where rapid impact is paramount.
