Business Analyst

About this Role The Business Analyst role family focuses on using data analysis and business knowledge to solve problems and drive decisions. You use data and your understanding of business objectives to solve straightforward problems to drive decision(s) and action(s) within a workflow. Key Responsibilities:
The problems you solve are well-defined by stakeholder requests, business requirements, and direction from management. Your tasks involve building, implementing, and meeting assigned goals with clear deliverables and timelines.

You will apply basic transformations in spreadsheets, SQL, and other tools to extract readily available data and calculate metric ratios using descriptive analysis (e.g., pivots, groupings of metrics). You identify drivers that impact business objectives and help improve scalability through documentation. Your Impact:
Your analytics solutions generate findings that inform decisions by providing visibility into business performance. You automate manual work to enhance efficiency.

You document your analytical approach clearly so others can replicate it, helping similar future tasks become simpler. Additionally, you train new peers and share findings through effective written and verbal communication tailored to diverse audiences. Qualifications:

• Basic Qualifications
• 2+ years of complex Excel VBA macros writing experience.
• 1+ years of Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables) experience.
• Experience defining requirements and using data/metrics to draw business insights.
• Experience with SQL or ETL processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Extensive experience working with Tableau.
• Familiarity with very large datasets.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Data Engineering, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields.
