About the Business Analyst Role

Scoutit is actively seeking skilled Business Analysts. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical capabilities and a genuine passion for resolving intricate business challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to meticulously gather and document requirements, goals, and objectives.
• Analyze existing business processes and workflows to pinpoint areas ripe for improvement or automation.
• Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify significant trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization.
• Work collaboratively with technical teams to translate business requirements into clear and actionable functional specifications.
• Develop comprehensive process maps, user stories, and use cases to precisely define business needs.
• Create and deliver insightful reports, dashboards, and other data visualizations to effectively communicate findings and insights to stakeholders.
• Facilitate productive meetings, workshops, and presentations with business leaders to foster alignment and drive decision-making.
• Provide support for project management activities, including scope definition, timeline estimation, and risk management.
• Assist in quality assurance testing by reviewing functional specifications and validating that deliverables meet all business requirements.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to inform strategic decision-making.

Essential Qualifications

• Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets effectively.
• Proficiency in utilizing business analysis tools and techniques, including process mapping, requirement gathering, and use case modeling.
• Familiarity with common data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Tableau, and Power BI.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and associated tools like Jira and Confluence.
• Excellent communication skills, with the proven ability to present complex information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Capacity to work effectively both independently and as part of cross-functional teams.
• A keen attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field is preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems, CRM platforms, or similar enterprise software is advantageous.
• Knowledge of business process modeling and notation (BPMN) is a plus.
• Possession of a Business Analysis certification (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) is considered a strong asset.
• Familiarity with programming languages like SQL or Python, or basic automation tools, would be beneficial.
