Business Analyst

Emirates NBD is seeking a dynamic Business Analyst - Liabilities to join the Everyday Banking tribe in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. This role is instrumental in driving the end-to-end delivery of digital banking initiatives by integrating business analysis, product support, and testing expertise. The Business Analyst will ensure seamless implementation, superior customer experiences, and effective coordination across diverse teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Analysis:

• Lead end-to-end analysis for business initiatives related to liabilities, encompassing requirement gathering, documentation, and validation, ensuring alignment with business, financial, and operational objectives.
• Translate regulatory, compliance, and risk requirements into precise functional and system specifications.
• Conduct in-depth impact assessments and meticulously define user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Analyze business and customer data to derive actionable insights and inform strategic decision-making.
• Define data requirements and validate data mappings.
• Identify inter-system dependencies and proactively flag potential delivery risks.
• Collaborate with the Product Owner on backlog refinement, prioritization, and roadmap alignment.
• Partner closely with designers, architects, and developers to ensure the creation of feasible and value-driven solutions.
• Monitor key product performance indicators (KPIs) such as adoption rates, funnel drop-offs, revenue impact, and operational efficiency, proposing data-driven enhancements.

Business & Platform Support:

• Provide essential support to business stakeholders during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and post-release phases.
• Monitor platform performance and promptly report production issues, coordinating with IT teams for swift resolution.
• Develop and maintain documentation for operational processes, including user manuals, FAQs, and training materials.
• Address production support queries and ensure business continuity for supported platforms.

Testing & Quality Assurance:

• Prepare and execute comprehensive test cases, including functional, integration, and regression testing.
• Log, track, and retest defects in close collaboration with QA and development teams.
• Validate production deployments to ensure smooth go-live experiences and conduct post-deployment monitoring.
• Perform data validations and contribute to automation testing efforts where feasible.
• Gather technical and product data for all implementations.
• Guide and recommend product design implementation strategies in partnership with the Product Owner and solution architect.
• Refine existing platform features based on research and industry best practices.
• Design intuitive screen mockups by engaging with end-users, understanding processes and system integrations, and ensuring a user-friendly end-to-end journey.
• Apply a logical business approach to solutioning and provide analytical input for strategic decisions.
• Share accountability for team results.
• Stay abreast of global advancements in digital technologies and propose innovative implementation ideas for the bank.
• Measure customer satisfaction and the impact of implemented actions, launched products, and process improvements.
