Business Analyst

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our Agency Services Application Development and Support team. You will support critical applications for key clients including the Michigan Department of Civil Rights (MDCR), Michigan Civil Service Commission (MCSC), and Michigan Lifelong Education Advancement and Potential (MiLEAP).

Key Responsibilities

• Liaise between technical teams, business partners, and product owners to drive operational support for web applications.
• Gather complex requirements for new application initiatives and RFPs through independent requirement sessions with stakeholders.
• Facilitate meetings involving the Change Management lifecycle and manage project timelines in Azure DevOps.
• Maintain backlog items, track sprints/tickets, ensure adherence to change management policies, and maintain documentation on SharePoint.

Required Qualifications

You must have 5+ years of exposure to complex IT web applications within the past five years. Additionally, you need 3+ years of experience acting as a liaison between development teams and business clients in software projects, along with strong leadership skills for delegation and stakeholder communication.
