About the Job
Role Purpose: The primary objective of this role is to act as a liaison between the customer and the Wipro delivery team. This involves thoroughly understanding and analyzing customer requirements, articulating them clearly to the delivery teams, and ensuring the development of the right solutions.
1. Customer Requirements Gathering and Engagement
- Interface with client engagement partners to understand RFP/RFI requirements.
- Detail scope documents, functional & non-functional requirements, and features, capturing all stated and unstated customer needs.
- Construct workflow charts and diagrams, study system capabilities, and write specifications based on thorough research and analysis of customer needs.
- Engage with internal teams (project managers, pre-sales, tech leads, architects) to design and formulate accurate responses to RFPs/RFIs.
- Understand and communicate the financial and operational impact of proposed changes.
- Maintain regular communication with customers to seek clarifications and feedback on proposed solutions, instructing the delivery team accordingly.
- Empower customers through demonstrations and presentations of proposed solutions or prototypes.
- Maintain customer relationships to optimize business integration and lead generation.
- Conduct ongoing reviews and gather feedback to enhance service and product value.
2. Engage with Delivery Team to Ensure Right Solution is Proposed
- Periodic Cadence with Delivery Team:
- Provide customer feedback and inputs on proposed solutions.
- Review test cases for 100% coverage of customer requirements.
- Conduct root cause analysis of proposed solutions, demos, or prototypes before customer sharing.
- Deploy and facilitate new change requests to meet customer needs.
- Support the QA team with timely inputs for periodic testing to ensure solutions meet business needs.
- Conduct Integration Testing and User Acceptance Demos/testing to validate implemented solutions.
- Utilize data modeling practices for analysis, improvement, and change design.
- Ensure 100% utilization by studying system capabilities and business specifications.
- Synthesize the entire response/solution for RFPs/RFIs before presentation.
- Support Project Manager/Delivery Team in Delivering the Solution:
- Define and plan project milestones, phases, and elements with the principal consultant.
- Drive and challenge delivery team assumptions for successful execution.
- Ensure Customer Satisfaction through timely, quality deliverables.
3. Build Domain Expertise and Contribute to Knowledge Repository
- Engage with other Business Analysts to share expertise and enhance domain knowledge across verticals.
- Write whitepapers/research papers and points of view for the consulting community.
- Identify and create use cases for project/account enhancements at a Wipro level.
- Conduct market research for content development to provide the latest inputs into projects.
