Business Analyst - Application Implementation & Project Coordination

Fort Technologies is seeking a dynamic Business Analyst with a specialization in application implementation and project coordination. This role is crucial for analyzing business needs, orchestrating project activities, and ensuring the successful deployment of application solutions. You will act as a key bridge between stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams, driving the delivery of effective solutions that align with strategic organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Analysis:

  • Collaborate extensively with business stakeholders to meticulously gather and document business requirements, process flows, and detailed functional specifications.
  • Analyze complex business needs and adeptly translate them into clear technical requirements and actionable solutions.
  • Conduct thorough gap analysis to pinpoint areas for enhancement and provide strategic recommendations for existing systems.

Application Implementation:

  • Spearhead the implementation of diverse application solutions, ensuring strict alignment with business objectives and technical specifications.
  • Develop and diligently maintain comprehensive project plans, realistic schedules, and precise resource allocation for seamless application deployments.
  • Orchestrate and execute rigorous system testing, encompassing unit, integration, and crucial user acceptance testing (UAT), to guarantee optimal quality and performance.

Project Coordination:

  • Serve as the primary liaison between business units and technical teams to foster effective communication and drive project momentum.
  • Meticulously manage all project documentation, including requirements, status reports, comprehensive risk assessments, and change requests.
  • Proactively monitor project timelines, deliverables, and budgets to ensure unwavering adherence to project goals and critical deadlines.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Actively engage with stakeholders to deeply understand their needs and expectations, providing consistent and transparent updates on project status and any emerging changes.
  • Develop and conduct targeted training sessions, and create clear user guides to empower end-users in effectively adopting new systems and processes.
  • Promptly address and resolve any issues or concerns raised by stakeholders throughout and post the implementation lifecycle.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Rigorously evaluate project outcomes and application performance to identify opportunities for process optimization and refinement.
  • Provide essential post-implementation support and conduct detailed reviews to ensure the application consistently meets business requirements and achieves high user satisfaction.
  • Remain current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to proactively recommend innovative and effective solutions.

Qualifications:

Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years of dedicated experience as a Business Analyst or in a closely related role, with a significant emphasis on application implementation and project coordination.
  • Demonstrated success in managing complex projects and effectively coordinating cross-functional teams.

Skills:

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a proven ability to translate diverse business needs into precise technical solutions.
  • Strong project management acumen, including hands-on experience with leading project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Proficiency in essential business analysis tools and software (e.g., JIRA, Microsoft Visio, MS Excel).
  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, ensuring effective collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders.
