Senior Business Analyst - Cybersecurity & ServiceNow IAM

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst with a strong background in Identity and Access Management (IAM) and expertise in ServiceNow. This role will be instrumental in leading the comprehensive process of requirement gathering, analysis, and successful delivery of ServiceNow IAM workflows. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to develop and implement compliant, scalable, and efficient identity and access solutions that align with HSBC's IDAM standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyze, and meticulously document business and technical requirements for ServiceNow IAM workflows.
• Engage effectively with stakeholders to capture end-to-end requirements and define future-state solutions.
• Conduct GAP analysis of existing access workflows and translate findings into actionable, well-defined requirements.
• Ensure all requirements are technically feasible and strictly compliant with HSBC IDAM controls.
• Create and maintain detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and comprehensive documentation within Jira.
• Facilitate key Agile ceremonies including estimation, sprint planning, story reviews, and 'Show & Tell' sessions.
• Coordinate task and story delivery seamlessly with development and Quality Assurance teams.
• Provide robust support for deployment planning and execution of assigned epics.
• Lead business and IAM User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning, execution, defect management, and signoff processes.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned epics throughout the entire deployment lifecycle.
• Proactively monitor dependencies, risks, and issues to prevent any potential delivery delays.
• Deliver regular, clear status updates to senior management and key stakeholders.
• Identify and champion opportunities for continuous improvement in IAM processes, delivery efficiency, and operational stability.
• Support other cross-functional initiatives and provide consulting expertise as required.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications:

• A recognized Business Analysis certification such as CBAP or CCBA.
• Extensive experience working as an Agile Business Analyst within an IT environment.
• Strong hands-on proficiency with ServiceNow, including its workflows, data model, and APIs.
• A solid understanding of Identity & Access Management (IAM) concepts, principles, and controls.
• Demonstrated experience with key IAM technologies including SailPoint, Delinea, HashiCorp, Active Directory, UNIX, and databases.
• Proven experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
• Ability to consistently document clear, structured requirements and user stories.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, presentation, and reporting skills.

Preferred / Optional Skills:

• Relevant security certifications such as CISA, CISSP, or CISM.
• ServiceNow CSA certification.
• Experience with additional ServiceNow modules (e.g., ITSM, GRC, Reporting).
