Job Summary

Synoverge Technologies is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Business Analyst with 3-5 years of experience in the General Insurance domain. This role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders and IT teams to analyze requirements, enhance processes, and implement effective technology and business solutions that align with organizational objectives. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to our growing presence in Ahmedabad.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze, document, and validate business and functional requirements for General Insurance processes including Underwriting, Claims, Policy Administration, Renewals, and Billing.
  • Serve as a crucial liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring a clear and shared understanding of requirements.
  • Develop comprehensive documentation such as Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs), user stories, use cases, process flows, and data mappings.
  • Support the solution design process by translating complex business needs into clear functional specifications.
  • Lead and facilitate workshops, requirement walkthroughs, and stakeholder discussions to drive consensus.
  • Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning and execution, including the creation of test scenarios, defect triage, and validation of fixes.
  • Identify and propose opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency.
  • Support change management initiatives and conduct post-implementation reviews to ensure successful adoption and outcomes.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3-5 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst specifically within the General Insurance domain.
  • A strong foundational understanding of key General Insurance products such as Motor, Health, Property, and Liability.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience with various requirement gathering techniques and adherence to documentation standards.
  • Proven experience working within both Agile and/or Waterfall delivery methodologies.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • A demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in using project management and documentation tools like JIRA, Confluence, Excel, or similar platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience contributing to digital transformation projects or core insurance system implementations.
  • Professional certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, IIBA-AAC) would be considered an advantage.
  • Exposure to data analysis, reporting, or SQL is also a beneficial skill.

Educational Qualification

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a closely related field is required.
