Branch Operations Intern

Join Republic Finance, a leading consumer lending company with a presence in over 250 communities nationwide, as a Branch Operations Intern. This program offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the daily functions and operations of a branch. Interns will receive real-world exposure to various career paths within our organization, contributing to our mission of providing flexible lending options.

Key Responsibilities:

• Undergo accelerated training to become licensed and proficient in our Assistant Branch Manager Program, covering the loan process and all required regulatory training.
• Support daily loan origination, processing, closing, and funding activities, including file allocation for document preparation, auditing closed files, and preparing files for funding.
• Collaborate with management and the Regional Vice President to understand their responsibilities, providing insight into potential career progression within Republic Finance.
• Participate in regional meetings and workshops (when available) to gain a broader understanding of the Branch Operations division.
• Contribute to one or more process improvement projects within Branch Operations.
• Explore corporate roles where a background in Branch Operations is highly valued, such as Audit, Compliance, Training, and Recruiting. You will also receive an overview of our comprehensive benefits package during the program.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree as a Junior or Senior, with a major in Business, Finance, or a related field.
• Demonstrated eagerness to learn, enthusiasm, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
• Availability to work a minimum of 18-20 hours per week.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Must meet acceptable standards for criminal background, credit history, and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Eligibility for insurance licensing is required to sell voluntary insurance products, contingent upon a state insurance department criminal background check.
