Join KED India as a Solution Engineer specializing in BMS & ELV systems in our new Mumbai office. KED is an engineering design, automation, and controls solutions organization based in Dubai, UAE, now expanding into India.

Educational Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Instrumentation, Electronics & Communications, or Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.

Experience: A minimum of 2-3 years of working experience with automation & control systems, preferably with Honeywell, TAC, or Siemens.

Additional Qualifications (preferred): Demonstrated ownership and leadership skills, along with experience in extra-curricular activities or leadership roles.

As KED is a startup, job responsibilities may be dynamic and extend beyond the following:

Business Activities:

• Pre-sales design and estimation of automation systems products, including leak detection systems, integrated building or industrial automation, wireless sensors, and IoT solutions.
• Estimation of allied product lines such as Fire Alarm Systems (FAS) and Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) for controls and automation solutions.
• Proposal generation based on estimates.
• Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with suppliers and partners.
• Preparing detailed engineering documentation according to specifications.
• Providing technical follow-up on submitted proposals.

Admin Activities:

• Managing product deliverables through logistics partners.
• Handling office supply and associated activities.
• Generating customer invoices and following up on payments.
• Attending incoming calls and directing them to the appropriate team members.
• Managing all inward and outward mail correspondence.

Self-Development Activities:

• Developing skills to understand various business verticals and customer business processes.
• Self-learning of technologies and software tools predominantly used by KED.
• Developing foundational knowledge in the following areas:
1. Fundamentals of Control strategy development for automation & controls.
2. Fundamentals of Energy management solutions.
3. Fundamentals of IoT and Integrated Building Management Systems (IBMS).
