Bluetooth Development Engineer

As a Bluetooth Development Engineer in Chennai, India, you will be instrumental in developing software that meets customer and end-user needs for our In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) platform and products. Your mission will be to design, build, and implement Bluetooth applications and stacks, ensuring seamless Bluetooth functionality across our Infotainment systems, Clusters, mobile apps, and Emulators. You will leverage your programming skills in C, C++, and Java to create new software and enhance existing applications. As a key member of our cross-functional and cross-cultural teams, you will collaborate to solve complex problems through code and contribute to innovative, mission-driven solutions.

Key Objectives: Design, build, and implement robust Bluetooth applications and stacks for automotive infotainment systems. Ensure overall Bluetooth functionality and user experience meet high standards. Solve technical challenges through coding and contribute to innovative automotive solutions.

Key Performance Indicators: Maintain a Sprint Completion Rate of 85% or higher for planned items. Ensure no critical issues remain open for more than one month. Adhere strictly to all software compliance processes, including ASPICE.

Key Year One Deliverables: Develop expertise in Bluetooth features within the infotainment domain. Effectively plan sprint activities and provide accurate estimations. Assess and ensure the quality of code, focusing on readability, maintainability, and adherence to best practices.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:

• Master's/Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Computer Science or a related field.
• 2 to 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in Bluetooth development or as an Android framework developer.
• Good knowledge of Bluetooth features.
• Strong proficiency in C, C++, and Java programming.
• Working experience with Android AOSP/Linux-based infotainment systems and build environments.
• Proficiency in capturing and analyzing Bluetooth sniffer logs and HCI logs.
• Experience executing PTS test cases in Launch Studio for Bluetooth SIG certification.
