Bigcommerce Developer

Role Overview

TechDoQuest is seeking an experienced BigCommerce Developer to join our India-based team. In this role, you will lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable eCommerce storefronts, focusing on Stencil theme customization, API integrations, and headless commerce architectures. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive high-performance digital experiences and support seamless migrations from legacy platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and optimize BigCommerce storefronts using the Stencil framework.
• Develop and manage REST and GraphQL API integrations, including payment gateways, ERP, CRM, and PIM systems.
• Implement and customize checkout workflows and catalog functionalities.
• Collaborate with UI/UX, QA, and backend engineers in an Agile environment.
• Ensure site security, SEO optimization, and peak frontend performance.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience with the BigCommerce platform.
• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Proven expertise in React.js, Next.js, or headless eCommerce solutions.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
• Experience with third-party service integrations and webhooks.
