We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Business Intelligence Engineer to contribute to and improve seller growth at Amazon. Our team, comprised of Business Intelligence Engineers, Data Engineers, Data Scientists, Applied Scientists, and Business Analysts, is dedicated to delivering data-driven analytical solutions that empower sellers to succeed on Amazon's global platform. We specialize in building and maintaining complex standard data pipelines and reporting pipelines to enable Product Managers in measuring, deriving, and analyzing seller performance, supporting tools, and seller-facing products. We are currently looking for a brilliant, self-driven, and seasoned Business Intelligence Engineer II. In this role, you will build scalable solutions, including extensive data models and complex ETL pipelines, and leverage your expertise to enhance data timeliness, discoverability, and availability.

- Oversee the development and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, and dashboards on key business drivers.
- Collaborate with Product Managers and business teams to consult, develop, and implement KPIs, automated reporting solutions, and infrastructure improvements.
- Develop and maintain scalable, automated, user-friendly systems, reports, and dashboards to support business needs.
- Perform both ad-hoc and strategic analyses.
- Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills, effectively interacting with both business and technical teams.
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in analyzing and interpreting data using technologies like Redshift, Oracle, or NoSQL.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Quicksight.
- Experience in data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis packages like R, SAS, or Matlab.
- Experience using SQL for data extraction from databases or data warehouses and scripting with Python for data processing for modeling.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AWS services including EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift.
- Experience in data mining, ETL processes, and working with databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets.
- Master's degree in Business Intelligence, Finance, Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
