We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Business Intelligence Engineer to join our team and contribute to the growth of sellers on Amazon. Our mission is to deliver data-driven analytical solutions that empower sellers on Amazon's global platform. We specialize in constructing and maintaining complex data pipelines and reporting solutions that assist product managers in measuring, deriving, and analyzing seller performance, supporting tools, and seller-facing products.
We are looking for a brilliant, self-driven, and seasoned Business Intelligence Engineer II. In this role, you will build scalable solutions, including extensive data models and complex ETL pipelines, and leverage your expertise to enhance data timeliness, discoverability, and availability.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Own the development and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, and dashboards on key business drivers.
- Partner with Product Managers and business teams to consult, develop, and implement KPIs, automated reporting solutions, and infrastructure improvements.
- Develop and maintain scaled, automated, user-friendly systems, reports, and dashboards to support business needs.
- Perform both ad-hoc and strategic analyses.
- Communicate effectively with both business and technical teams.
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL, etc.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Quicksight, or similar.
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines.
- Experience with statistical analysis packages such as R, SAS, and Matlab.
- Experience using SQL to extract data from databases or data warehouses and scripting experience (Python) for data processing.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift.
- Experience in data mining, ETL, and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets.
- Master's degree in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
