Full Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and meticulous BI Data Engineer to enhance data-driven decision-making within our call center operations in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. This role is crucial for designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines, developing robust data models, and delivering insightful dashboards and reports. Your contributions will directly impact performance, operational efficiency, and customer experience improvements. This position merges data engineering and business intelligence expertise to ensure reliable, accurate, and scalable analytics solutions for our operations.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Design, construct, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for call center and customer service data.
- Integrate data from various operational systems including telephony, CRM platforms, and workforce management.
- Develop and optimize data warehouse structures and dimensional data models.
- Create and maintain interactive dashboards and automated reports using BI tools like Power BI (DAX), Tableau, or Qlik.
- Monitor and ensure the accuracy, integrity, and performance of data.
- Analyze operational metrics to provide actionable insights to leadership.
- Support forecasting, workforce planning, and performance optimization initiatives.
- Collaborate with Operations, WFM, QA, and IT teams to establish and implement KPI reporting standards.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a BI Data Engineer, BI Analyst, or Data Engineer, ideally within a call center or customer service environment.
- Strong SQL skills, including advanced querying, optimization, and data transformation.
- Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Power BI (DAX), Tableau, Qlik, or similar.
- Experience in building and maintaining data pipelines and data warehouse solutions.
- Proficiency in Excel for advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is advantageous.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
