ZeroFox is seeking a motivated Business Intelligence Data Analyst to join our expanding team in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. This role is crucial for supporting analytics needs and ensuring quality assurance across the organization. You will collaborate with various teams and leadership to define and implement self-service analytics capabilities, fostering a data-driven culture. Your responsibilities will include driving robust data quality assurance practices and strengthening the relationship between the Analytics team and other departments, empowering employees to request analytical support. Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with company leads to define analytics requirements.
• Develop dashboards for diverse teams to support critical business decisions.
• Define key business metrics (KPIs) and maintain a comprehensive data dictionary.
• Partner with Business Intelligence Analysts and Engineers to design scalable data models.
• Triage and prioritize analytics requests from across the organization.
• Possess strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in data collection, organization, and analysis.
• Develop data storytelling abilities and effectively communicate technical information to non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrate inherent curiosity, skepticism, and analytical follow-through, using data and logic to explore solutions.
• Exhibit self-starter qualities, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and identify opportunities with minimal supervision.
• Maintain high proficiency in SQL and have prior experience with tools like PostgreSQL, BigQuery, and Excel.
• Apply experience in statistics, including hypothesis testing, regressions, experimentation logic and biases, and data normalization techniques.
• Develop and document data models.
• Train end-users on new reports and dashboards.
• Function effectively as a team player with excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of analytics experience from at least one full-time role.
• Have a background and foundational knowledge in databases and ETL processes.

Requirements:

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, BigQuery, and Excel.
• Experience in statistics (hypothesis testing, regressions, experimentation logic, data normalization).
• Experience developing and documenting data models.
• Minimum of 2 years of analytics experience.
• Foundational knowledge in databases and ETL processes.

Nice to Have:

• Over 3 years of work experience on full-time data analysis teams.
• Experience designing self-service analytics solutions.
• Experience managing modern BI tools such as Apache Superset, Google Data Studio, Tableau, or Looker.
• Experience using Salesforce and Zendesk for report and dashboard creation.
• Experience managing small teams and/or projects.
• Knowledge of Python.
