Design India is seeking a motivated Business Development Executive (BDE) for its EdTech division in Gurugram. This is a full-time, on-site position for an immediate joiner with excellent communication skills and a minimum of 1 year of sales experience. The role offers a salary of up to 35,000 INR.

Role Overview

As an Academic Counselor, you will play a crucial role in guiding students through their academic and career journeys. Your responsibilities will include providing comprehensive student counseling, academic advising, and career counseling. You will also support initiatives related to education and skill development, working closely with students to understand their aspirations and help them achieve their goals through effective communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting student counseling sessions to address academic and personal development needs.
• Providing academic advising to help students make informed educational choices.
• Offering career counseling to guide students towards suitable professional paths.
• Supporting education and skill development programs.
• Building rapport with students and understanding their unique challenges and aspirations.
• Communicating effectively to provide guidance and resources.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated proficiency in student counseling and career counseling.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in academic advising is highly valued.
• A background in or experience with the education sector is preferred.
• Strong empathy, active listening, and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with academic institutions, curricula, and career resources is a plus.
• A Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Education, Psychology, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of sales experience.
• Willingness to join immediately.
