Role Overview
We are seeking a proficient Bash Developer for our team to enhance automation, scripting, and the optimization of system-level workflows. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about Linux environments, shell scripting, and the development of efficient automation pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and refine Bash scripts for automation and operational workflows.
- Automate routine system administration and deployment tasks.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to streamline processes and boost efficiency.
- Diagnose and resolve issues within shell scripts and Linux-based environments.
- Produce clear, modular, and scalable scripts adhering to best practices.
- Monitor script performance and enhance reliability and execution speed.
- Manage file processing, log management, cron jobs, and server-side task automation.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of practical experience in Bash/Shell scripting.
- A thorough understanding of Linux/Unix systems and command-line tools.
- Proven experience with automation workflows, cron jobs, and process management.
- Familiarity with scripting utilities such as awk, sed, grep, and regular expressions.
- Knowledge of file systems, permissions, and server environments.
- Demonstrated ability to debug and optimize scripts for performance and reliability.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.
- Basic proficiency in Python or other scripting languages is advantageous.
- Experience in cloud or server environments is a plus.
