Backend WordPress developer

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Backend WordPress Developer to join our team. Candidates with experience in WordPress, WooCommerce, PHP, MySQL, and JavaScript will be prioritized.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage MySQL databases using phpMyAdmin, handle large datasets, and understand WordPress data structure.
• Navigate WordPress file structures to create custom templates and partial layouts.
• Leverage Custom Post Types (CPT) and taxonomies for content organization.
• Utilize the ACF plugin for dynamic page/post customization.
• Develop custom solutions using PHP actions/filters, JavaScript/jQuery, and Ajax interactions without page reloads.
• Implement online payment systems where applicable.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery, and Ajax
• Familiarity with WordPress ecosystem (WooCommerce, WPML, ACF, BuddyPress)
• Experience with Git version control
• Understanding of Sass and GULP build tools
