Backend Support Engineer Role at Boss Wallah Media, Bengaluru/Bangalore

Boss Wallah Media, India's leading social media and production platform, is seeking a skilled Backend/Systems Engineer with approximately 2-4 years of experience to join their team in Bengaluru/Bangalore. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in backend technologies, including hands-on experience with Python, SQL, and Linux/Bash scripting. Essential to this role are robust programming fundamentals and a solid understanding of relational databases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, deploy, maintain, and enhance backend services, APIs, and server-side logic.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code primarily in Python.
• Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and integrations.
• Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex backend issues.
• Ensure the performance, security, and scalability of backend systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 2-4 years of backend development experience.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Strong understanding of Linux fundamentals and Bash scripting.
• Solid knowledge of relational databases.
• Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.

Bonus / Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with the Django framework.
• Experience with PHP and the Laravel framework.
• Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS or GCP.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker/Kubernetes.
• Experience with JavaScript and frontend development.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

This is a permanent, full-time position based in Bengaluru/Bangalore, India.
