Role: Backend Sales Engineer – Transformers

We are seeking a motivated Backend Sales Engineer with proven experience in the transformer manufacturing sector to join our dynamic sales team. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between customer needs and internal operations.

About the Role:

You will serve as the technical commercial expert, supporting front-end sales efforts by preparing precise techno-commercial quotations, managing complex RFQs (Request for Quotations), and ensuring seamless order execution. Your expertise in transformer specifications will be crucial in advising clients and coordinating with Design, Engineering, Production, and Quality teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales Coordination & Support: Act as the primary backend support for sales representatives, handling inquiries related to power and distribution transformers.
• Quotation Management: Develop accurate cost estimates and proposals based on detailed customer technical requirements.
• Tender Processing: Compile comprehensive tender submissions, ensuring all compliance statements and commercial documentation are flawless.
• Order Lifecycle Management: Coordinate from order booking to final delivery, liaising with production for timely dispatch updates.
• Customer Relations: Maintain robust communication channels with clients regarding purchase orders, status tracking, and post-sales support.

Requirements:

• B.E. or Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Preferred).
• 1–5 years of experience in backend sales specifically within the transformer industry.
• In-depth knowledge of power/distribution transformers, including technical specifications and standards.
• Proficiency in MS Excel for MIS reporting and database management.
