Join Reg-X Innovations, a leading provider of regulatory reporting solutions for financial institutions. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Backend Developer (Python) to join our dynamic technology team in Pune, Maharashtra, India. This full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge regulatory technology solutions. The ideal candidate will possess 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in Python development, with a strong focus on data-centric libraries and a firm understanding of cloud infrastructure, databases, and backend API design. You will collaborate closely with our data analytics and product teams, leveraging AI tools to develop scalable backend systems that drive our innovative regulatory technology. Key responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend services using Python, implementing solutions with Amazon Bedrock and Amazon Q, and understanding generative AI models. You will work extensively with data handling libraries like Pandas and NumPy for processing large datasets, design and integrate RESTful APIs, manage and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure (EC2, S3, Lambda), and efficiently manage relational databases such as MySQL/PostgreSQL. Collaboration with the analytics team to build data pipelines and dashboards, along with implementing CI/CD workflows using GitHub, are also integral parts of this role. We value best practices in version control and encourage participation in code reviews and system architecture discussions. While not essential, basic working knowledge of ReactJS and familiarity with Linux environments are considered advantageous.
