We are seeking a Backend Payments Engineer to design, develop, and optimize our payment processing systems. You will collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure secure, scalable transactions that support checkout-free solutions globally.
- Design and maintain robust backend payment solutions using Python frameworks like Django or FastAPI.
- Integrate diverse payment gateways (e.g., Stripe, Adyen) and banking APIs for smooth transaction flows.
- Ensure strict compliance with PCI-DSS, PSD2, and other regulatory standards.
- Optimize transaction speed, security, and reliability to enhance customer experience.
- Implement fraud detection strategies using AI-driven models where applicable.
- Monitor production environments and troubleshoot complex payment issues.
