Role: Backend MLOps Engineer
About the Role:You will join a team building backend components of an MLOps platform on AWS. These components are fundamental blocks for feature engineering, serving, model deployment, and inference in batch and online modes.
Key Responsibilities:- Design & build backend components of our MLOps platform on AWS.- Collaborate with geographically distributed cross-functional teams.- Participate in on-call rotations to handle production incidents.
Mandatory Skills (Must Have):- 3+ years professional experience in Python web development.- Experience with frameworks like Flask, Django, or FastAPI.- Familiarity with WSGI/ASGI servers (Gunicorn, Uvicorn).- Knowledge of concurrent programming and AsyncIO.- Proficiency in unit and functional testing frameworks.- Hands-on experience with public clouds (AWS preferred) for backend services.- Expertise in CI/CD practices and tools.
Preferred Skills:- Apache Kafka development using Python clients.- Experience with MLOps platforms: AWS SageMaker, Kubeflow, MLflow.- Big data processing frameworks like Apache Spark.- Container orchestration (AWS ECS/EKS).- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and DevOps tools (Jenkins).- Packaging operations (Wheel, PEX, Conda).
