Backend Lead

About the Role

We are seeking a Backend Technical Lead – .NET with over 8 years of experience in technologies including .NET Core, C#, PostgreSQL, and AWS. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in microservices architecture, REST API design, healthcare integrations (specifically HL7/FHIR, EMR/EHR), HIPAA compliance, and team leadership.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead backend development initiatives using .NET Core, C#, Web API, PostgreSQL, and AWS infrastructure.
• Design scalable microservices architectures and secure REST APIs tailored for high availability.
• Mentor teams, review developer work, and drive technical excellence.
• Optimize database performance, enhance application security, and ensure system reliability.
• Implement healthcare integrations utilizing HL7, FHIR, XML, and EMR/EHR systems.
• Safeguard client data by ensuring strict HIPAA compliance, PHI protection, and secure handling of sensitive information.
• Drive technical decision-making, code quality improvements, CI/CD pipeline management, and resolution of production issues.

Key Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in .NET Core, C#, Web API, PostgreSQL, and AWS environments.
• Demonstrated expertise in microservices architecture and RESTful API development within healthcare contexts.
• Proven track record with healthcare/EMR systems integration (HL7/FHIR/XML).
• In-depth knowledge of HIPAA regulations, data security protocols, and PHI protection strategies.
• Experience leading backend teams, conducting code reviews, and mentoring junior developers.
