Full Job Description
We are seeking a talented Backend / Full-Stack Engineer to join our team in Bengaluru, India. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing scalable APIs and microservices using Node.js and Express. You will manage deployments with GitHub Actions and CodeDeploy, leveraging Docker and AWS. Your responsibilities will include optimizing MongoDB queries and implementing Redis caching to handle high-concurrency traffic. You will also bridge Figma designs to backend logic using Next.js and Tailwind CSS, and maintain system monitoring with Nginx and PM2 to ensure high availability.
We are looking for candidates with at least 1 year of professional experience in building and maintaining production applications. Essential skills include deep Node.js knowledge, particularly async programming and RESTful API architecture; mastery of MongoDB, including schema design, indexing, and complex aggregations; and hands-on experience with AWS (EC2/S3) and CI/CD pipelines. The ability to take a feature from product requirements or Figma designs to a stable production deployment is crucial.
Experience with high-concurrent user applications, Nginx configurations, Dockerfiles, and payment gateway integration (like Cashfree) with webhook handling will make you stand out. We value a strong commitment to maintainable, well-documented, and DRY code.
We encourage the use of AI tools like Cursor, Copilot, and GPT-4 as force multipliers, but emphasize that you must own your code, reason through architectural trade-offs, and debug independently.
