Backend Engineer

About the Role:
Candidates must be based in Tamil Nadu or its outskirts.
Join our team to build a next-generation food delivery platform that handles online ordering, delivery logistics, kitchen operations, and real-time analytics. We are seeking passionate Backend Engineers skilled in Go (Golang) who can architect scalable systems and contribute to AI-driven automation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop high-performance backend services using Go.
• Build event-driven distributed systems for complex order workflows.
• Create REST APIs, microservices, and integrations with POS devices, payment gateways, and third-party platforms.
• Leverage PostgreSQL, caching layers (Redis), and messaging queues to ensure system reliability.
• Collaborate on developing AI/LLM-powered automation for intelligent routing and operations.
• Optimize system performance, scalability, and fault tolerance in production environments.

Required Skills:

• 3+ years of professional backend development experience.
• Expert proficiency in Go (Golang).
• Solid understanding of PostgreSQL database design and optimization.
• Hands-on experience with distributed systems, microservices architecture, and containerization (Docker).
• Strong knowledge of REST API development principles.
• Familiarity with concurrency patterns, scalability strategies, and performance tuning.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience integrating AI/LLM models, building autonomous agents, or creating automation workflows.
• Knowledge of message brokers like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Understanding of gRPC / Connect RPC protocols.
• Certification or experience with AWS or GCP cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes orchestration and CI/CD pipelines.
• Basic exposure to frontend technologies such as React.js or Next.js is a plus.
