Backend Engineer

We are seeking a talented Backend Engineer with expertise in Node.js to join our team in Mumbai. This role focuses on building robust, scalable, and high-performance backend systems. You will be instrumental in designing APIs, optimizing system performance, and contributing to a reliable backend architecture. The position requires 3+ years of experience with Node.js, a deep understanding of asynchronous programming, and proficiency in databases like MongoDB and SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL). Experience with Redis for caching and basic AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, CloudWatch) is essential. You should also be comfortable with Git and have a strong grasp of REST APIs, backend architecture, and authentication mechanisms (JWT/OAuth).

Key responsibilities include designing and developing scalable backend services, building and maintaining RESTful APIs, integrating databases, implementing caching with Redis, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. You will also be involved in monitoring, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and working with AWS infrastructure. We value code quality and adherence to best development practices.

This is a full-time, work-from-office role located in BKC, Bandra, Mumbai. The interview process includes resume screening, system design and live coding technical rounds, followed by a culture round with the hiring manager and HR.
