Role Overview

You will design and own high-performance backend systems in Go from conception through production deployment. Collaboration with product, design, and infrastructure teams is essential to shaping APIs and solving scaling challenges. The role requires a builder's mindset: taking ownership of problems, making clear trade-off decisions, and maintaining composure during incidents.

AI-First Workflow

Daily use of AI tools (such as Cursor or Codex) is expected to accelerate development, provided you maintain rigorous judgment over their outputs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build backend services and APIs in Go.
• Owning features end-to-end: data modeling, design, rollout, and production support.
• Writing clean, testable, idiomatic code.
• Detecting and resolving performance bottlenecks via profiling, benchmarking, and debugging concurrency issues.
• Cross-functional work across API, infrastructure, database layers, deployment, and monitoring.
• Leveraging AI coding tools to enhance productivity while reviewing all outputs critically.
• Communicating technical problems simply to cross-functional teammates.
