About the job
We are seeking a Backend Engineer for a contractual role lasting 1 year. This position requires 3–5 years of experience, with a strong emphasis on Node.js expertise and prior work in a product-based company.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and microservices.
- Build and optimize REST/GraphQL APIs.
- Ensure application performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Collaborate with Product, Frontend, and QA teams.
- Monitor systems, debug issues, and improve efficiency.
- Contribute to system architecture and technical decisions.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of OOP, design patterns, and SOLID principles.
- Experience with PostgreSQL and database management.
- Familiarity with Redis and messaging systems (Kafka/RabbitMQ).
- Hands-on experience with microservices architecture.
Good To Have
- Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
