Full Job Description
Qure.AI seeks a talented Backend Engineer to join their Engineering department in Bangalore. This full-time, permanent role involves collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and frontend engineers to develop innovative solutions for their healthcare workflow platform. The ideal candidate will utilize strong Python/Django expertise to architect and implement robust backend systems, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and reliability. Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud deployment is advantageous.
Key responsibilities include developing robust backend systems and scalable architectures using Django and Python, collaborating with cross-functional teams (data scientists, product managers, UX/UI designers), designing and implementing efficient APIs, ensuring code quality through reviews and debugging, optimizing applications for performance and scalability, contributing to architectural discussions, staying updated with emerging technologies, and participating in sprint planning and progress tracking.
Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, 2-4 years of backend development experience with Python/Django, strong Python programming skills, experience with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations, experience building and deploying web services with Django, database expertise (PostgreSQL, Redis) including schema design and optimization, familiarity with CI/CD, Docker, and cloud deployment, excellent problem-solving and debugging abilities, and strong communication skills for articulating technical concepts.
