Backend Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Backend Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. You will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining robust backend systems that power our innovative B2B eCommerce platform.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze business processes and customer needs to design and implement effective technical solutions.
• Actively participate in technical and integration design discussions, contributing to documentation.
• Produce high-quality, clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Adhere to engineering best practices, prioritizing application security, performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Manage the deployment, rollout, maintenance, and support of applications.
• Continuously explore and integrate emerging technologies and industry trends.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proven experience in web development and familiarity with DevOps practices are advantageous.
• Strong expertise in building complex business applications.
• Comprehensive understanding of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to rollout and adoption.
• Prior experience in the digital commerce and retail sectors is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
• Demonstrated clarity of thought and meticulous attention to detail.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Ability to rapidly learn and apply proficiency across multiple programming languages and technology stacks.
• Proficiency in JAVA and experience with Spring Boot are preferred.
• Familiarity with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Effective communication and strong collaboration skills are essential.
