Backend Engineer

Niural AI is seeking a Mid-Level Software Engineer specializing in backend development to design, build, test, and maintain robust server-side applications. This role requires expertise in Python, Golang, C++, or Java, alongside practical experience with AWS services and CI/CD pipelines. You will architect and implement scalable, high-performance backend systems, collaborating closely with frontend developers and cross-functional teams to deliver production-ready solutions in Bangalore.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain server-side applications primarily using Python.
• Design and implement efficient RESTful APIs to support front-end features.
• Ensure the scalability, performance, and security of backend systems.
• Leverage AWS services for application deployment, data storage (S3, DynamoDB), and server management.
• Write clean, maintainable, and optimized code adhering to industry best practices.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Engage in code reviews, offering and receiving constructive feedback.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production environments.
• Monitor application performance and optimize server resources.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and backend development trends.
• Mentor junior engineers on coding standards and best practices.

Requirements:

• 2 to 5 years of professional experience in backend development.
• Proficiency in at least one of the following languages: Golang, Python, C++, Java, or Typescript. Python expertise is highly preferred.
• Hands-on experience with key AWS services such as Lambda, S3, and DynamoDB.
• Familiarity with serverless computing principles and practices.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and microservices architecture.
• Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and detail-oriented skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities for teamwork.
