Backend Engineer

Qualifications:

• A strong desire to learn and adapt to market and technological advancements.
• 2-4 years of professional backend development experience.
• Proficiency in Python (Flask) and SQL, with specific experience in PostgreSQL and PostGIS.
• Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB, workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow, and web servers like Nginx.
• Practical experience with cloud services, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including services like Cloud Functions, Cloud Build, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, Cloud Logging, and Cloud Monitoring.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Kubernetes is a significant advantage.
• Understanding of Geographic Information System (GIS) concepts is beneficial.
• Demonstrated experience in designing and building REST APIs, with the ability to articulate architectural trade-offs and make informed technical decisions.
