Backend Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement backend algorithms for 3D geometry computation and design automation.
• Develop efficient data structures and algorithmic solutions using Java and relevant object model libraries.
• Create and optimize algorithms for automating structural geometrical placements and design processes.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers to integrate backend algorithms with visualization and rendering components.
• Utilize Google Cloud services for scalable geometry processing within backend systems.
• Analyze and refine existing algorithms to enhance performance, accuracy, and reliability.
• Work with cross-functional teams to translate engineering requirements into scalable backend solutions.
• Document algorithmic methodologies and technical best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven backend development experience with Java.
• Demonstrated experience in implementing complex algorithms and working with advanced data structures.
• Familiarity with object model libraries and common design patterns.
• Experience with Google Cloud services in backend systems.
• Understanding of structural geometry, computational geometry, or design automation techniques.
• Exposure to generative AI algorithms or algorithmic design is highly advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
