Backend Development Intern

Role Overview

We're looking for a motivated Backend Development & DevOps Intern who is excited to build, deploy, and maintain real-world applications while gaining hands-on experience with Node.js, Express.js, databases, Linux, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Docker, and CI/CD.

You'll work closely with our technical team on live projects, contributing to backend development, cloud infrastructure, application deployment, server management, and production troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services using Node.js, Express.js, Python, and REST APIs.
• Design, implement, and maintain databases using PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and SQL.
• Build and integrate APIs, authentication systems, background jobs, and third-party services.
• Deploy and manage applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Configure and manage Linux servers and application processes.
• Work with Docker to containerize applications and manage deployment environments.
• Assist in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, and deployments.
• Troubleshoot backend, networking, deployment, and infrastructure-related issues.

Who We're Looking For:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Familiarity with JavaScript/Node.js or Python and basic understanding of backend development.
• Strong interest in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), cloud infrastructure, backend engineering, and DevOps.
