Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Backend Developer to support a massive-scale banking data migration project involving retail bank products (checking, savings, money market accounts, IRAs, CDs) within scheduled migration windows. This role is critical for handling up to half a billion transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform customizations and enhancements on backend systems for upcoming large data loads.
  • Leverage Java, Scala, and Spark technologies to optimize performance tuning.
  • Build and maintain hands-on AWS data pipeline solutions using S3, Glue, Step Functions, Lambda, and EventBridge within an event-based architecture.
  • Create validation components ensuring data security integrity.
  • Navigate schema drift complexities and manage backfill handling effectively.
