gnani.ai is seeking a highly experienced Backend Developer with 14 years of hands-on experience to join our dynamic product team. This pivotal role involves shaping the backend architecture of our advanced AI-driven conversational platforms. You will be instrumental in developing scalable APIs, robust data pipelines, and seamless system integrations, leveraging FastAPI and modern Python frameworks. Collaboration is key as you will work closely with frontend, AI/ML, and product teams to create exceptional user experiences and drive business value.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services and RESTful APIs utilizing FastAPI.
• Build and scale backend infrastructure to support demanding real-time conversational AI applications.
• Optimize the performance and reliability of services, algorithms, and data storage systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system architecture, product design, and timely feature delivery.
• Deploy and manage services efficiently across cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Utilize MongoDB, Redis, and RabbitMQ for effective and efficient data processing.
• Contribute to CI/CD workflows, comprehensive documentation, and uphold backend engineering best practices.

Candidate Profile

• A minimum of 14 years of comprehensive backend development experience, with a strong preference for SaaS or AI-focused environments.
• Exceptional programming skills in Python, with proven experience in FastAPI or Flask.
• Solid working knowledge of MongoDB and major cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Proficiency with Git, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and collaborative team development.
• A strong problem-solving mindset, advanced debugging skills, and clear, concise communication abilities.
• Bonus points for exposure to conversational AI, NLP frameworks, or DevOps tooling.
