Backend Developer

We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer with a minimum of 2 years of professional experience, coupled with a foundational understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI) integrations. This role involves the development of robust backend systems utilizing PHP, Laravel, and MySQL, as well as contributing to the integration of AI-powered features and APIs within our web applications. This position is based in Andheri East, Mumbai, Maharashtra, and we are specifically looking for candidates currently residing in Mumbai.

Key responsibilities include the development and ongoing maintenance of backend applications using Laravel and Core PHP. You will be responsible for designing, managing, and optimizing MySQL databases, as well as developing and integrating RESTful APIs. Collaboration with frontend developers to ensure seamless API integration is crucial. A significant part of the role involves implementing AI API integrations, such as those for AI chatbots or automation tools, and integrating various third-party APIs and external services. Maintaining clean, well-structured, and reusable code is paramount. Version control will be managed using GIT, and you will be involved in debugging, troubleshooting, and enhancing application performance and security.

Required skills encompass strong proficiency in PHP, Laravel, and MySQL, along with an understanding of AJAX and jQuery. Experience with RESTful APIs is essential. Basic knowledge of AI tools or AI API integrations is preferred. Familiarity with GIT version control is expected. Candidates should possess strong problem-solving abilities, good written and verbal communication skills, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently to meet deadlines.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. This is a full-time, in-person position.
