Full Job Description
WIN Home Inspection is seeking passionate Backend Software Engineers specializing in NodeJS to join our expanding team. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will contribute to building industry-redefining software products and applications within a multi-disciplinary team focused on state-of-the-art web and mobile applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy cloud-based applications, microservices, integrations, and reusable components.
- Develop applications, web services, and cloud-native apps using NodeJS, Javascript, REST API, and other relevant technologies.
- Collaborate within an agile environment alongside product owners, frontend and backend engineers, UX/UI designers, and QA teams.
- Optimize application performance and maintain high code quality through rigorous testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices.
- Actively participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and provide mentorship to team members.
- Identify and implement technical solutions to enhance user experience and backend efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- 4-7 years of experience in backend development, particularly with NodeJS, Javascript, PostgreSQL, REST API, and AWS, including cloud/server-less architecture.
- Proficiency with development toolsets, integration and deployment tools, and testing automation tools.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment that prioritizes innovation and rapid execution.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the capacity to break down complex issues and propose clear, actionable solutions.
- A creative and strategic mindset, capable of thinking outside the box.
