Are you an experienced Java Developer looking to build resilient APIs and enable seamless integrations? Josh Software is seeking a skilled Backend Developer (Java) with Spring Boot expertise to join our team on a Home Loan Integration program.
About the Role
We are looking for a seasoned developer to play a key role in modernizing legacy systems. You will design event-driven workflows using Dapr and Temporal, ensure secure data access via YugabyteDB, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines while supporting DevSecOps practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native microservices using Java Spring Boot.
- Build integration layers connecting loan origination, servicing, channels, and legacy platforms.
- Develop RESTful APIs for enterprise applications across banking domains.
- Implement event-driven workflows using Dapr and Temporal.
- Ensure secure, high-performance data access using YugabyteDB.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions.
- Contribute to unit testing, code reviews, and quality assurance.
- Troubleshoot performance issues and optimize backend services.
Requirements
Mandatory:
- 4-5 years of experience in Java Backend Development.
- Strong hands-on with Spring Boot & Microservices architecture.
- Experience designing scalable, maintainable systems.
- Understanding of event-driven architecture and distributed systems.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies.
Preferred Skills
Dapr, Temporal knowledge; AWS/Azure/GCP cloud experience; Docker/Kubernetes containerization; Experience in financial services/lending domain.
