Join Data Eminence as a remote Backend Developer based in India. You will help build secure, scalable, and reliable backend systems that power modern web applications worldwide.

Your Responsibilities Include:

• Developing and maintaining scalable server-side applications and services
• Designing, building, and maintaining RESTful APIs for seamless integration
• Implementing business logic based on product requirements from our global team
• Working with relational (SQL) and NoSQL databases to ensure data integrity
• Designing efficient database schemas and optimizing queries
• Implementing robust authentication, authorization, and access-control mechanisms
• Integrating third-party APIs and external services into our platform
• Developing CRUD operations and complex data-processing workflows
• Validating API requests securely and handling errors efficiently
• Writing comprehensive unit and integration tests for backend functionality
• Debugging and troubleshooting application issues with precision
• Optimizing backend performance, database queries, and API response times
• Using Git/GitHub for version control in a collaborative remote environment
• Participating in code reviews to follow software development best practices
• Assisting with deployment, monitoring, and production troubleshooting across regions
• Maintaining technical documentation for APIs, services, and backend processes
• Collaborating closely with frontend developers to ensure smooth API integration
• Staying updated with modern backend technologies like Node.js, Python, Java, TypeScript/JavaScript, Prisma/ORMs, Docker, cloud deployment tools, AI-assisted development platforms, and more.
