Backend Developer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Backend Developer to join our Tech Solutions team in Gurgaon (Gurugram). The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using Golang, build robust REST APIs, optimize database performance with SQL/PostgreSQL and Redis caching, and ensure high availability on cloud platforms like Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable Golang microservices and REST APIs.
• Contribute to system design focusing on scalability, reliability, and performance in distributed architectures.
• Implement Redis caching strategies and manage SQL/PostgreSQL databases efficiently.
• Write comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests ensuring code quality.
• Develop Shell/Bash scripts for automation and CI/CD pipeline management (GitLab/GitHub).
• Troubleshoot production issues with strong debugging skills in high-load environments.

Requirements

• Experience: 2–4 years of backend development experience required. Ideal for mid-level engineers ready to take ownership.
• Core Skills: Strong hands-on expertise in Golang (Go), concurrency patterns, goroutines, channels, and error handling.
• Architecture: Deep understanding of microservices architecture, distributed systems design, system scalability, availability, and performance tuning.
• Databases & Caching: Proficiency with REST APIs, Redis for caching, SQL/PostgreSQL databases.
• DevOps & Tools: Experience with Shell/Bash scripting, Git version control, CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions/GitLab CI).
• AWS/Azure equivalent skills: Practical experience deploying and managing services on GCP or similar cloud environments.

Docker/Kubernetes Exposure

Familiarity with containerization using Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes is a significant advantage for this role.
