Backend Developer - Node.js & MongoDB

This full-time role involves building and maintaining efficient, scalable, and reusable backend solutions. You will collaborate closely with frontend developers, designers, and other team members to deliver high-quality, feature-rich products.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust APIs and backend services utilizing Node.js and associated frameworks.
• Manage and optimize MongoDB databases, ensuring performance and scalability.
• Integrate server-side logic with frontend elements in collaboration with the development team.
• Enhance application speed and scalability for optimal cross-platform performance.
• Implement stringent security protocols and data protection measures.
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for application development and architecture.
• Conduct troubleshooting, debugging, and updates to ensure application stability and efficiency.
• Actively participate in code reviews, testing, and quality assurance to elevate code quality.
• Engage in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements to deployment.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements and best practices in Node.js and MongoDB development.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Node.js and frameworks like Express.js or Hapi.js.
• Expertise in MongoDB, including database design, performance tuning, and query optimization.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and WebSockets for real-time communication.
• Experience with microservices architecture and cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
• Understanding of modern authorization standards such as JSON Web Token (JWT) and OAuth.
• Proficiency with version control systems like Git and understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is beneficial for API integration.
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) is advantageous.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills for a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (Preferred)
• 1 year of experience in Node.js development (Preferred)
