Backend Developer

Position Overview

We are seeking a Backend Developer with 2–4 years of experience to join our Tech Solutions team in Gurgaon, India.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable microservices using Go (Golang) and build robust REST APIs.
• Contribute to system design for distributed architectures with a focus on scalability, reliability, and high performance.
• Implement Redis caching strategies and manage SQL/PostgreSQL databases efficiently.
• Develop comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end (E2E) tests to ensure code quality.
• Create Shell/Bash scripts for automation and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.
• Deploy and maintain services on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or equivalent cloud environments.
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, QA, DevOps, and Engineering teams.
• Own features from initial requirement analysis through deployment and ongoing support.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of hands-on backend development experience in Go (Golang).
• Strong expertise in microservices architecture, distributed systems, and system design principles (scalability, availability).
• In-depth knowledge of Go concurrency patterns including goroutines, channels, context, and error handling.
• Practical experience with REST APIs, Redis caching layers, SQL/PostgreSQL databases.
• Solid skills in software testing frameworks for unit, integration, and E2E scenarios.
• Familiarity with Shell/Bash scripting, Git version control, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins/GitLab CI).
• Hands-on experience deploying applications on GCP or similar cloud platforms.
• Strong debugging abilities and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
