Responsibilities:

• Design and plan robust systems, services, and components.
• Engage in end-to-end software development lifecycles.
• Build and maintain highly scalable, distributed systems.
• Develop and integrate Web Services, REST APIs, RPC, and Spring/Spring Boot applications.
• Oversee testing, deployment, and continuous monitoring of services.
• Implement instrumentation, observability, and dashboarding for system insights.
• Debug production issues and manage incidents with a strong 'you build it, you own it' philosophy.
• Collaborate effectively with stakeholders and ensure clear communication.
• Provide technical mentoring and facilitate knowledge sharing within the engineering team.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 to 8 years of professional software development experience, ideally in product engineering.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Solid understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, Operating Systems, and Object-Oriented Programming principles.
• Expert proficiency in Java/Core Java development.
• Demonstrated experience in building and consuming REST APIs, SOAP, RPC, and Spring/Spring Boot applications.
• Proven track record in developing large-scale distributed systems or core systems programming.
• Familiarity with various data stores, effective data modeling, and system scaling techniques.
• A strong DevOps mindset, embracing ownership of development, deployment, and production system health.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with strong problem-solving capabilities.
• A collaborative team player adept at thriving in a fast-paced, agile setting.
